How to Optimise JUUL battery Life

If you’ve been using the JUUL for a while, you might have noticed that its battery life isn’t that good. In this post, we’ll look at there simple fixes that’ll improve JUUL battery life.

The JUUL is not designed to be a powerhouse with respect to battery life. Its been designed to be small and very portable.

JUUL says the battery will last about as long as one JUUL Pod so, around 200 puffs depending on the length of each draw.

For starters, you cannot expand the battery life of the JUUL; it’s fixed and non-removable, so you’re stuck with it, essentially.

During my time using a JUUL, I basically came up with three work-a-rounds for combating its small battery life, which are detailed in full below:

Think About Usage & Top Up Charging

JUUL Pods run on Nic Salts. Nic Salts E Juice is very potent; normal usage should be less, as it is around 4-5 time stronger than standard E Juice.

Therefore, you should be using the JUUL less than you would a traditional vape device. 20MG of nicotine versus 3MG is a big difference, and JUUL was designed with this in mind.

If you’re constantly vaping on the JUUL, try and limit your usage, like you would with a 20 pack of smokes. Don’t just honk on it all the time, as this will kill the battery within an hour or two.

If you treat the JUUL as you would a cigarette, you’ll get way more from it in the long run, as well as conserve your JUUL pods. This isn’t exactly easy to do, but with focus and will it can be done. The big idea here is to quit smoking and get off nicotine for good, right? Limiting your usage helps you get to this goal faster. Be tough with yourself, you can do it – and it will save you money and battery.

Beyond this, keep your JUUL charger with you at all times. If you’re at work and not using it, give it a top-up. Ditto if you’re at home. This way your JUUL will always have battery life.

Get Yourself a Spare JUUL Battery

The second option, which I actually ended up doing, is getting a spare JUUL battery. In fact its better to buy a 2nd starter kit so you get the 4 pods and charger with the kit, the battery on its own is £24.99 but the full starter kit is only £29.99 so its better as you get the extra pods and charging dock.

Running two (or three) JUUL batteries means you can run one down, and then swap it for a fresh one. And while you’re using the new one, you charge the dead one. Once that one dies, you repeat the process.

Depending on how much you vape, you should be able to get through a full day on two JUUL batteries – though this will depend on your usage habits.

Invest In A Portable Charger

What if you can’t access a computer during the day? Or you work outside? Simple: get yourself a portable JUUL charger.

These inexpensive accessories work much like a phone power bank; they’re basically portable charging units for the JUUL that you can carry in your pocket.

The Best Solution For JUUL Battery Life Issues?

Personally, having more batteries and portable charger negates pretty much 100% of JUUL’s battery issues. It is an investment, obviously, but when you don’t have to worry about running out of battery life, it does start to feel like money well spent. For me, it’s not about the money; it’s about less hassle.

Using multiple JUUL cells and a portable charger means the only thing I have to remember to do is make sure the portable charger is fully charged.

Once this is done, it takes care of everything else throughout the day.

Happy vaping!
